Who is Eligible:
To enter, you must be a legal resident of the United States (excluding residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions) and be age 18 or older. This promotion is not open to residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico or other U.S. territories and possessions. Employees, officers, directors and agents of General Motors Corporation, Chevrolet Motor Division ("Sponsor"), American Hole 'n One ("Administrator"), participating Chevrolet dealers, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and any and all other companies associated the design or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Promotion Parties”), and the members of the immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households, whether or not related, of any of the above, are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.
How to Enter – There are two (2) ways:
[1.] Visit the Chevy Retail display during the Promotion Period, complete an official entry form available there, while supplies last, and deposit the completed entry form in the designated entry box by the specified deadline. Entrants must complete all required information on the entry form to be eligible. Only official entry forms may be used; no photocopied or facsimile entries allowed.
[2.] To enter by mail, handprint, on an approximately 3” x 5” card or piece of paper, your complete name, date of birth, address, city, state, zip code and daytime and evening phone numbers (with area code), and mail your entry in a #10, business-size envelope with first-class postage affixed to: Pebble Beach Golf Sweepstakes, c/o American Hole ‘n One, PO Box 2227, Buford, GA 30515-9227. Mechanical reproductions will not be accepted. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by 7/30/07 and received by 8/3/07.
Limit one (1) entry per person for the entire Promotion Period.
All entries must be hand-printed. All entries become the property of the Administrator and will not be returned.
Winner Selection:
A random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator on or about 8/3/07 to select potential winners from among all eligible entries received in accordance with these rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified initially by phone beginning approximately on or about 8/6/07 and asked to confirm his/her eligibility, and indicate his/her willingness to accept the applicable. Upon confirmation of his/her eligibility as well as his/her willingness to accept prize, such potential winner may be required to execute and return a W-9 form, an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, unless prohibited by law, publicity release within a time period specified by Administrator. If a potential winner is ineligible or otherwise fails to return such documents within the specified time period fully-executed, or if Administrator is unsuccessful after three (3) attempts to reach and speak directly with the a potential winner by phone over a 48-hour period, a potential winner cannot or does not wish to accept the prize or is not incompliance with these rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and, at Administrator’s discretion, an alternate winner will be randomly selected and notified as per the procedures outlined above. Failure to collect or properly claim a prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, Administrator will have no further obligation to such winner and may, at its sole discretion, randomly select an alternate winner who will be notified as per the procedures outlined above. If any winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein. If Grand Prize winner is a minor, he/she must accompany parent or legal guardian on the trip.
Prizes:
Grand Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of a trip for two (2) to Pebble Beach including round-trip coach class air transportation for two (2) on airline of Sponsor's choice from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s residence, two (2) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), a rental car for three (3) days while in Pebble Beach, and four (4) rounds of 18 holes of golf with an Approximate Retail Value of $5,500. Actual value may vary based on winner’s city of departure. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, Administrator reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Travel arrangements must be made through Administrator’s agent, on a carrier of Administrator’s choice. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Winner is solely responsible for all expenses, costs or fees associated with acceptance and/or use of the prize not specified herein as being awarded including, without limitation, any and all taxes, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. Winner’s guest must be of the legal age of majority in his/her state of residence (and at least 18 years of age), unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest is a minor in his/her state of residence, minor’s parent/legal guardian must execute and return all releases on behalf of minor. Winner and guest must comply with all course rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in such prize portion. First Prize (1): select Nike Golf Irons (valued at $699) (to be selected by Administrator) Second Prize (1): select Nike Driver (valued at $299) (to be selected by Administrator). Third Prize (1): select Nike Golf Bag (valued at $169) (to be selected by Administrator). Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at Administrator’s sole discretion. Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Winners, if prize is valued at $600 or more, will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the value of the prize. Winners will be responsible for paying all income, federal, state and local taxes on prizes as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Administrator. All prize details are at Administrator’s discretion.
Additional Rules & Restrictions:
By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. In the event a winner is found to be in violation of any of these rules, he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse the Administrator for the stated value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used by winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and their designees to use each winner’s name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity, without limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold Promotion Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), participation in the Sweepstakes or in any prize-related activities, and assumes all liability in connection therewith. Promotion Parties shall not be responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, delayed or damaged entries or mail, or for lost or stolen entry boxes or for mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, the cancellation of any participating event or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Administrator reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. If terminated, Administrator may, at its sole discretion, select the potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such action. Administrator also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and void his/her entry) who tampers with the entry process or who is in violation of these rules.
