Cox Classic Breaks the $2 Million Mark in Charitable Giving
The Cox Classic presented by Lexus of Omaha recently presented their 12 local charities with more than $100,000 cash. Since its inception in 1996, the Cox Classic has raised more than $2 million. It is the mission of the Cox Classic, as well as the PGA TOUR, to raise significant funds for charity. The 2012 Cox Classic Charities were Boy Scouts of America, Camp CoHoLo, Girl Scouts, Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy, Hogan's Junior Golf Heroes, Junior League of Omaha, Nebraska Organ and Tissue Donor Coalition, Omaha Jaycees, Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics Nebraska, Tangier Shriners and Youth Emergency Services.

The Cox Classic Presented by Lexus of Omaha is the premiere event on the Web.com Tour. Each year, some of the best golfers in the world compete to take that next step to the PGATOUR. Thousands of fans turn out to not only see these great golfers, but also support the 12 charities we support.
